We've got Moe, Larry & Curly in Peete, Weinke & Fasani (in no specific order unless we want to explore the specifics of labeling our three stooges).
With Peete and Weinke out, we gotta sign someone. Can't rely on Brown to be our back-up QB...that would be just plain wierd!
    So Who's our Shep?

    OK I'll start

Dave Brown: UFA - Probably one of our better choices, has some good experience, flanked by some bad experience.

Jason Garrett: UFA - Solid career back-up, had some good games. More like a coach w/ a helmet.

Jeff George: UFA - One word...HELL NO!

Elvis Grbac: UFA - Still has game, but his heads not in it.

Paul Justin: UFA - He'd be my top choice on this list. Don't know why he's not already someone's #2?

Scott Mitchell: UFA - He was A milder/gentler version of Ryan Leaf.

What about Canada or the AFL? Any names jump out at you?
Fact is someone needs to be signed. Fasani goes down and we're screwed!

LAst night on Panther Talk coach Fox said no cap or roster space for a backup qb, likely just a guy for the practice squad to take snaps during practice.

    I shit you not.

That name crossed my mind, really liked him when he was in college. What the hell happened to him, he disappeared off the radar after the 9ers dropped him?
