who the Yankees cut first? Or George rather. You know he gets pissed if he doesn't win, and axes all his players. Who will be the big money guy? Bernie Williams? 22 homeruns in his post season career, dude is nasty, also old.

    discuss.

The Yankees will definitely make a play for Carlos Beltran. Bernie would be moved to DH. They'll be looking for pitching (starters and long relief). There's been talk they'll go after Pedro, but I'm not sure they'd be willing to pay him what he wants (Schilling money), especially considering how much Beltran is gonna command. Maybe Carl Pavano. Maybe Derek Lowe (although his stated preference is Detroit). They need lefty relief, that's for sure.

beltran will be a yankee and that pisses me off. if they don't get pitching, we'll see the same thing next year. can't see pedro going to the yanks.

Pedro actually said in an interview is dream team is the Dodgers. Hes loved them since a kid, since his brother joined on and the situation early in his career was a fluke. Although, he wouldn't be worth the money he would want to come back.
