Nova is much better than anyone thinks. I would want no part of them. That potential matchup versus FLA is one of the best matchups on the slate for this weekend. Some others I've picked:

Bama & BC (Bama will win - they'll have more trouble with UW-M than BC). Then potentially Bama - Illinois next weekend. Total barn burner. I'd pay good money to see that game.

UAB vs Zona - yes UAB has to upset LSU. I think they can despite being totally mismatched inside. They'll have turn LSU over 20-30 times to win though. Zona versus UAB looks like another barn burner, although I'd pick Zona to pull away late and win by 10-20.

Washington versus UL or Ga Tech. Either matchup would be tremendous. GW could F it all up though. BTW, Pacific will beat Pitt. Yes they will.

WVU versus Wake - One of the hardest games for me to pick. WVU has been playing crazy good lately. They can really shoot the 3 which spells trouble for Wake. Pittsnoggle is a matchup nightmare.

Cincy vs Kentucky - Another planned matchup by the committee. These two fan bases HATE each other. Indianapolis is close enough for both to drive. Should make for a good game.

Charlotte vs State - Ice Cold versus Red Hot. ACC versus the "mid major" that has outperformed them.

Damn, I love this time of year. :woot:

Alabama isnt going to beat Illinois. Unless Illinois has really played a weak schedule and grossly overated.

I still dont think we win that game. We are top 15 at best. Dont have that feeling like last year.

No, they won't beat Illinois, (and I never said they would), but watching their 3 guards take on Illinois' 3 guards will be awesome. Bama has to win that first game though. UW-M is gonna make them earn it. Against BC, Bama will pack it in (zone) and try to make Dudley beat them.

No one is beating Illinois. They will cut down the nets. Superstar guards win championships, and they have 3 of the best.

Duke will have a tougher time in the Sweet 16 than they would if they make it to the Elite 8. If they can get by Syracuse then they are Final Four bound. C'mon Vermont upset them in the first round! Syracuse will have to earn a championship this year. Have to play a tough Vermont team, then possibly Michigan State, Duke, Kentucky or Oklahoma, and possibly North Carolina, and Illinois. That sounds like absolute torture to me
