Two lottery picks, some players with very good potential currently on the roster, and plenty of money to make moves in the future.. we COULD get good real quick.

I took the kids to see them last Saturday = they lost at the last second to the Knicks. It was my first Bobcats game - Saturday day game so it wasn't much of a crowd and Okafor didn't play but about five minutes. It was hard to get into the game because I didn't really know any of the players.

Gerald Wallace looked okay and Kapono had a solid mid range shot.

Other than that I wasn't very impressed. The fact they won 18 games ( which isn't much) is more an indictment of how crappy many NBA teams are.

With two more high draft picks coming in they can be young and build through the draft. They need a point guard ( Brevin Knight was okay but he's a backup) and a center ( Okafor needs to play power forward )

Brevin Knight was second in the league in assists on a team without many scoring options, what more do you want in a point guard?

At PG, you'd like to have some of that and some scoring. But if Knight is your guy, and you just want an assists/D guy, then you'd really like to have two things - a tall, offensive 2G, and a backup PG with an actual jump shot. Somewhere, someone's gotta be scoring 25 a game, so that these 10 ppg guys are contributing to a win rather than making a loss not look so bad.
