So Duke fan how is it feel to be overrated

Busted.

 

Um EVERYONE knew Dook would have a stronger team this year than UNC. That was never in question. Never claimed UNC was better than dook this year. Though UNC was MUCH better than expected, but this was supposed to be Dook's year. Just like last year was supposed to be UNC's year. Dook supposedly the top team in a down year in the NCAA... and unlike UNC they couldn't even make it to the final 4.

I was here last night and I am here today. I can be anywhere you want to be. Like VISA.

 

I am not buying the line that says Duke has a bad year unless they win a national championship. Duke had a great year.

 

Either way, they did less than expected or what they should have done.

Anything less that a final four if not more for this team was a choke.

 

Finish 1st in the AP is what they were expected to do and they did. IE. Be the best team over the course of a whole season.

All bets are off come tourney time.

They choked, you wouldn't even take the bet on dook winning it all when I let you set the odds. I then said, ok let's find some type of bet for them making the final fucking 4, damn crickets chirping after that one as well.

Seriously, if a #1 seed doesn't make the final four, that is a choke. Dook struggled down the stretch, losing 2 games to end the regular season, which they shouldn't have been ranked #1 in the AP, you would have bitched like a little girl if it was UNC in the same position. Dook didn't look good in the ACC tourney, but did pull that out.

Redick wore down at the end of the season, and K as good of a coach as he is, doesn't develop his bench like he should. He stayed in Redicks and Williams jockstrap the entire season. That is K's one major weakness as a coach he doesn't use/develop his bench at all, and some players(not all) seem to get worse under his leadership. Melchionni played worse this past year and Dockery should have been more of a force for this team, his stats were similar to last year, but he played better last year shot the ball a little better from what I remember.

 

No Duke shoulda at least made the Final 4. I never expect a national championship, but I feel if you are a contender you should get that far.
