Good for you then. Because I think rude employees need to be told on more often. Service is getting to be worse and people just don't care about the consumer.

 

If they had gotten ketchup on his shoe it would have been an accident. They could not reasonably expect ketchup to fall on his shoe if they ate a burger outside the door. If they smoke there though they have to know that they are going to create a cloud of smoke that customers have to walk through. Some people react badly to smoke if they have asthma or other breathing problems.

I smoked for over five years. I have known some wonderful, wonderful people that were smokers. I've even known a couple of ministers that were smokers. I've met and been able to relate to certain people simply because we were smokers. So, I think there certainly is a place for them.

 

Not to take away from this thread, but you hit on something QC. I have often noticed there is like a bond with smokers. It's not really that I think it's a good thing, but there is an unwritten creed almost with smokers. Generally people who smoke are fun to be around and giving.... By that I mean, have you ever asked someone for a smoke when you didn't have one and get turned down? I haven't.

 

I think beer drinkers share a bond too and are typically good people. I've never been around someone enjoying a cold one that did not offer one up to their guest... good folks I tell ya. And if your lucky... you'll hang with a beer drinker that doesn't smoke - then you don't walk away smelling like shit.
