You're gonna die someday anyway. Why suffer with trying to quit? You're gonna feel stupid for having suffered if you get hit by a truck or suddenly get killed by a penis jammed into your brain though your eye socket. If you get cancer, just increase your reckless lifestyle more.

Yeah! You're right! Who needs another 20 pounds added to their ass anyway?

  3. I like to drink. Never smoked....don't like smoke...yuck...but....have liked some who do smoke...would rather they didn't (Couz) but would have to over look that....with the right incentive..I think it would not be TOO difficult to quit......Only smoked a cig once...choked on it...would rather choke on something else...:) Cigs are not good for you....and a smoke free world would be preferable. but......good luck to those who try to kick the habit. Thank G. my hubby didn't smoke. He would have kicked it to be with me....and would have been worth it. ....lol...yeah I think he would agree.

    Fred,
Dont listen to the silly talk. Of course you can get hit by a truck but that dosnt mean you should play in the street. Quiting smoking does not induce suffering. You may be uncomfortable for a while. Want to know real suffering? Try Lung disease. Only a smoker would try and talk you out of it. Misery loves company. And you would have to gain quite a bit of weight to equal the damage that smoking does to you. But if you are seeking reasons not to quit keep taking the advice of smokers. They have plenty. I quit about 6 years ago. Extremly uncomfortable for a while but there was no suffering. Altough my kids might tell you a different version, LOL.

Yeah...but if he quits and then he gets hit by a truck the coroner can rave about what clean lungs he had.:p

What's the difference between discomfort and suffering? And I know lung disease is much worse suffering than quitting, but there's no guarantee that he'll get lung disease, while he IS guaranteed to suffer if he quits. Not only that, but I offered a response to that situation if he should be so unfortunate to encounter it. At that point, he should start having unprotected sex and take up skydiving with very small parachutes made by his own hands. Not only that, but generally speaking, Fred SHOULD play in the street. I'm not a smoker. I'm just playing Devil's Advocate...or maybe it's just Devil. Anyway, you should go play in the street, too.

Same here, exactly the same times I crave for a smoke.

I only add at the movies when the characters light up. Then I want one, other wise I'm ok.

Exactly. This whole "get healthy" thing is just a conspiracy by the insurance companies and those seeking organ donations. Bastards.

Get it right Sadistic- it's WALK the street!

And i am still planning on October 7th being my stopping day. I have switched to the low-life generic brands now. They are nasty. Maybe if I smoke them for a few days, I won't miss them as bad when I quit.
