    nah, right next door in louweezyanna. texas does have killer bbq, but so does memphis, kansas city, st lou, and jamaica. much, MUCH better than over here. i don't know what that shit is in this area, but it's nasty. the meat is smoked til it's almost like jerky, the bbq sauce is runny, and what the hell is that vinegar based crap? yuck!

    we have the oldest most traditional style of bbq. the methods were learned from the indians. If you don't like it you just don't like bbq, becuase thats what bbq is.

    no it's not bbq. it's smoked meat with sauce put on it afterwards. bbq is basted as it cooks. indians aren't really known for their bbqing skills so that further proves my point.

    kind of funny that they could invent bbq in texas when it was already invented in the Southeast

    oh, and you do baste while smoking
