    Wow

Cool stats. Never would've thunk he'd have a chance at Rice's records but those are the two he could reasonably beat.

the only record he's on par to beat is the TD's,

6 more TD's in 8 games? yeah, he can do that...he can do it in 2

the other records though, he'd have to step it up the remaining 8 games...

Joe Montana to Jerry Rice.....Jake Delhomme to Steve Smith

    nice ring to it

He will draw more and more attention the 2nd half of the season so it'll be extremely tough for him to break any of those. Not impossible, but tough. I'm more hopeful that Colbert or Gardner explode in the second half than I am for Smith to break any of those records.

Dude he draws attention every week.

5 more 100 yard games in 8 is the most likely - especially considering how many ypc he can get.

Smitty was the shite while here at Utah in college. Had him returning punts, running it, and it seemed they STILL never got him the ball enough. The dude has the attitude and confidence to pull it off. Personally, I think he has the best shot at Michael Irvin's record. And as a Cowboys fan(lived in Big D growing up), I would love to see him beat that coke-snorter's @$$ off the record books. But that's just me.
