Anyone see the trailor of the season's 1st episode? There is a clip of a scene where everything is moving in slow motion except Clark, and all of a sudden he takes off like he is flying. I had heard that the shows producers had a 'no tights, no flights' rule where we wouldnt see him fly. As long as it doesnt look cheesy Im cool with it

I read some info about Clark flying in the 1st episode. These clips are rumor not fact, but generally pretty acurate:


Apparently there's a scene where Clark flies alongside a plane Lex Luthor is travelling in.

Added 8/27: How are they going to get away with Clark flying? USA Today printed this tidbit alongside an interview with Executive Producer Alfred Gough: "And in a big (if temporary) departure from its "no flights, no tights" rule, this Superman will fly in the season opener. Gough says the script provides a loophole because Clark has been "reprogrammed" as Kryptonian alter-ego Kal-El. "He can only do it once; by the end of the episode, he can't do it anymore."

Added 8/16: Apparently Clark splits into two beings at one point in this story - the Clark we all know and love and "Kal-El," which would explain the convenient flying.
"It sounds to me like Clark will wear Red Kryptonite again and fly. But then when he takes the Red Kryptonite off, he'll forget how to fly. So flying is something Clark can only do while he's angry (for now, at least). "

 

Finally a wimpy show I'm hooked on. I guess I've caught the gay like you reality show watchers.

Playa - or anybody that knows - I think I quit watching this after 6 seasons. I just noticed there's a season 7, 8, 9 - worth watching the others?? If you're a Smallville fan - others, FTFO.

 

I quit watching somewhere along the way.

 

My eyes aren't good enough to watch it. It's too small.
