    yeah

he needs to come back so he can get his vocabulary lesson for the day

choke - to lose win you are the overwhelming favorite. Like when you are Number One in the nation, number one all season, odds on favorite to win a national championship, a team full of senior starters, from one of the supposedly best recruiting classes ever assembled, playing at home, in the supposedly "toughest place to win in college basketball", said seniors playing their last game ever in said arena against their biggest and most hated rival, with the supposedly best coach in the game today, playing against a team full of freshmen, a team that was devestated losing their FOUR best players to early NBA defection and three seniors, seven players that were all their offense, a team that was supposed to be so pathetic this season they would just pack it in and concede the season. In other words - to choke is to be dook.

That is a great stat. Really by this point in the season Freshmen aren't really Freshmen anymore and this group really hasn't played like typical Freshmen for most of the year. What will be interesting will be how the group coming in next year will mesh. Hopefully it won't be repeat of the 93-94 season that had so much talent that came in but they had attitudes that equaled their talent.

those freshmen made plenty of mistakes all season. But they play harder than any Heels team I can remember. And they got the talent and Roy recruited a great team. You can tell the difference this team to last because he has a team full of his own players - recruited to play his style. Noel is a Williams kind of player - Terry isn't which is why he has struggled so much. Last years team was mega talented but I doubt Roy ever recruits a team full of egos like that.

That being said next year's team may not be as good as this year has turned out. They will miss Noel - there will be another freshman learning curve. But it sure as hell will be fun to watch.

Best thing about this class is with the exception of Hansbrough , Green and Frasor and Ginyard are four year players - imagine how good that bunch will play together as seniors with the athletes Williams will bring in year after year. Next year's bunch will have several good four year players as well - The Heels will be a deep, talented, experienced bunch in 2008 and 2009.

This team reminds me a lot of the hard-working mid-majors that bust up the tournament every year, only we have a legitimate stud in Hansbrough to go along with it.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Nothing like hard work and hustle to win ball games. Also, Roy isn't going to recruit too many players with attitudes is he?
