I by no means am musically gifted, but I do have a veritible plethora of knowledge in regards to quality "slow jams", I'm talking Old School, & New Stuff that sounds like old school, stuff to throw down wit ya lady...

If you like this kind of stuff then check back to this thread, as I will periodically give you some search ideas with Morpheus or whoever you use...

When you search, look for the artist & or title listed in my brief description.

My first 3 you may not have heard are:

    1. Fantacy Love - This song features the work of Howard Hewitt on vocals and one of the best Jazz cross over musicians in the business - Stanley Clark. Hewitt for those of you that recall, got his big start with a band called Shalimar in the late 70's early 80's and had the blockbuster R&B hit "Second Time Around". Clark had several nice tunes with the musically gifted George Duke, better known as the Clark Duke Project.

    2. Weekend Girl - SOS Band - Best known for their Hit "Take Your Time, Do it Right"

    3. Isley Brothers - "Voyage to Atlantis" I've got a pretty big list for this group...

Enjoy the tunes, they are actively available on most music downloads...

I agree; Stanley Clark is a very fine bass player. I first heard him with Chick Corea's Return To Forever group.
