    Would it have been 6 regular season championships if we had won that? I could have sworn I read or heard we were competing for 6 straight championships this season.

    I think they won or tied for regular season from 1998 - 2002. This year would have been 6 if they would have won regular season.

    It wouldn't have been 6 straight Regular Season Conference championships. That streak was from 1998-2001. Maryland won the conference last year with a 15-1 record.

    The streak you heard was 6 straight appearances IN the ACC Tourney Finals. We've won the last five now.

    Carolina whipped our ASS in 98, just one week after the Wojo miracle in Cameron. How quickly we'd like to forget THAT tourney game ;)

    Very similar to this current streak by Duke over UNC actually.

    UNC owned Duke for so long before that emotional comeback in Cameron. We finally won, and got thumped in the Finals. It hurt but it made us better. Here's hoping UNC is on the path to recovery too ;)

    History repeats itself, I am sure it will...just the growing pains suck ass.
