what was that - it was like 40 minutes of seeing David get fucked over. About 10 minutes in, I got the point. Meanwhile, nothing of any substance happened to anyone else. This artsy shit should have some amount of point.

as soon as he picked him up, i thought something bad was going to happen. but then, i guess everything that happens on the screen is important to the story and nothing good ever seems to happen to these people.

are the kids that play mya somehow non-functional? has anybody ever heard her make any sort of sound or display any kind of emotion?

yeah on pt1, no on pt2. I know they wanted to develop something there, and sure - making him smoke crack, throwing the Ally McBeal fantasy thing in there twice, those weren't uninteresting. But for the most part, everything that led up to actual events left you wondering where it was going, and when you got there, it was disappointing.

I don't know that I've seen Mya's face that much, either. mostly buried in Nate's chest, which I'm sure is symbolic. It's good, in that it'll never be Full House, but all the same, there's no way that these people are that self involved that no amount of personality has shown up in this child - including talking - by age 2.

of course, I missed last week, but after this week, it seems like that wasn't so unwise. I'll still watch, but this 45-minute commercial for dragging David through the salt was a bit much.

agreed, it got old, it was like that one weak episode of the sopranos this season. But I'm glad it wasn't the random hookup I thought it was going to be for David. At least it's something they can build on.

I thought it was the best episode all year.

Except maybe the illicit wilderness burial.

yeah. That was kick ass, and raw emotion.
Luckily, it wasn't 45 minutes of Nate digging a hole, though. That woulda sucked. That's what this thing felt like.

Wtf? Brenda is attacked by a mountain of comforters, then decides she doesn't want to be a momma anymore, so she goes and sees Nate. This show is getting weak, I mean, I'll still watch, but it needs to suck less.

I thought I was the only one freaking out about this.. that was such a horrible epsiode.. man, he was so blessed that that guy didn't kill him.. he could have easily did it. I knew it wouldn't happen though.. then the show would loose it's gay plot and of course that's one of the highlights of the show.

But he really did get f'd over.. man, I was squinching and my heart was racing for him.. I mean having to do crack just to not get shot.. I swear I don't know what i'd do in that situation, but I don't think I could do crack.
