you always hear aout athletes who do a ridiculous number per day - like 500 or something.

is that really the best thing you can do to trim own your waist and get a 6-pack?

no....if you read what professional body builders do, they normally do between 30 and 40...3 or 4 sets....4 or 5 different exercises....at least twice per week.

Anybody doing over 150 is using their hip flexors....if you are doing them right, you should be getting a major league burn after about 25...if they ain't burning, you aren't working them.

doesn't matter how many you do...if you don't lose the fat you'll never see the six pack.

There's a whole bunch of ways to do crunches and yes, you have to do some ridiculous number to get a burn then you need to change. Also make sure to keep the small of you back pressed into the ground/floor.

Some of you guys may think that I'm crazy but get the video tape Abs of Steel and go through it until you can get all the way through without stopping (It's ten minutes of abs exercises). All you have to do after that is maintain. It's great.

nope..crunches dont burn fat. You can do a 1000 a day but if you have a tire around your waste no one will ever know.

    nevermind...boo told you already

Thanks to y'all for the answer though cause I've been wondering the same thing Larry has. And I do seem to have a small Michelin I can't get rid of.
