Sirius was throwin the hate today

Today on NFL Access they were showing film of Manning throwing to Nicks. They started laughing out loud at the Panther's Secondary.

 

Our secondary was kinda laugable. Hell, Dick Marshall looked like my son out there.

 

And so they should be. We were doing a great job shutting the run down when Bradshaw was in the backfield. Then when it came for the secondary to step up for a few plays they completely shut down. Gamble, Marshall and Godfrey all seemed to bust plays so i dont honestly know what the hell was going on back there. Even with the mistakes we were making i felt we would dominate if we calmed down and got it together.
We did take the lead into halftime remember.

Then its the same old story, were a one half team. Once again we fail to show up at all for the second half. They switched Bradford for Jacobs and all of a sudden we couldnt stop nadda, embarrasing.

I know Davidson got alot of heat for the playcalling in the redzone but do you really think we would have found success in the running game all of a sudden? I do recall on the next drive he tried to run and got stuffed again. The OLine had its worst game in a long time and it looks like the added attention to the receiving game seriously backfired. Stewart was a shadow of the guy who ran for 200 on them last year, obviously not game ready yet. And i know they werent coahing Moore to play like that. I was frankly quite shocked how poor he was, yeah, the oline had its issues but those picks were worse than the shit Jake used to thro up.

Its not the end of the world, we will win some games this year. Giving up on Lafell and other after one game is rediculous. Whether we should have brought in a proven guy instead is another debate that quite frankly gets us nowhere.

(at least we didnt trade away our first rounder next year, it could be valuable if they play like that again)
