    I downloaded the demo version (SH3) last night for the PC and was not impressed. I may give SH2 a try on the XBOX. The game play just seemed a little hoakey.

    Actually the Maria thing is available on the Greatest Hits version of the PS2 game, just not the regular version. It was pretty cool.

    I recently played SH3. Scared the crap out of me. I agree with the total mind-fuck description. I did find that it was the suspense that was scarier than the baddies. Thought he baddies are usually pretty freakin' creepy!

    Can't wait for SH4!

    Action, exploration, and puzzle-solving are the real meat of the game, but what sticks with you is the atmosphere and mood. On some nights I still get Silent Hill "nightmares." Love it!
