    saw it the night it opened i was disappointed. it was okay, but didn't live up to the hype they created over it. they kids held the whole movie.....

    man this is a fucking great date movie!! Put it in and let your girl snuggle up next to you and be ready for a lot of jumps and she keep getting closer..... and closer... oh and the movie rocks!!! I love how it's just about the one family in the invasion and not one of the over done like ID4 was.. Great concept from a great writer director.

    I was a little disappointed. I came away from it feeling like a victim of a 'bait and switch' scam. :(

    just watched it last night. wasn't that impressed. the acting was slow and mel's been typecast.

    i really didn't like that m. night put himself in the movie, either.

    aliens that get killed by water? oy...

    It's not an alien invasion movie. Just like Unbreakable wasn't a superhero vs. villian movie. Great twists on old ideas. I love his work.

    He's been in all three of his big movies. He was the doctor in Sixth Sense, and he was the druggie in the bathroom in Unbreakable.

    where are the great twists? the characters werent'that interesting. he likes to tie in EVERYTHING into neat packages in his movies. sixth sense was his wad shot, i'm afraid.

    if anyone has ever walked through a cornfeild especailly late at night or in the morning...you'll get water on ya somewhere....dew.

    from all we know today, water is needed for life....why would aliens who are killed by water choose a planet that is mostly liquid water from space?
