That didn't scare me. I thought it was alittle cheesy. I could shit something scarier.

I have. I thought even the "scary" scenes were lame.

I thought it was okay, but not one of Gibson's best by any stretch. I still think Joaquin Phoenix is creepy. The funny thing to me, was that it was almost a 'bait-and-switch'. The movie was promoted as an alien flick with no mention of Gibson being a priest at all. (at least from what I saw) But to me, the movie was more about one man's struggle with his own faith after the loss of his wife than anything else. By the end, the alien subplot was almost an afterthought. Or something thrown in to sell more tickets.

I liked it, it was a little different, but still scared me. The taped scene in Brazil was genius. The director used the kids at the party and their loud talking leading to screaming to build the tension just so, then it hits the audience. Beautiful. The ending was a little, well, maybe more than a little, sappy with the bat and all.

Me too. It was more a spooky comedy than a horror flick.

The kids seemed more pulled together than the grown ups sometimes. Tickled me. lol

The TV in the closet and them all sitting in there .... and the aluminum foil hats:laugh1:
