Murphy's Law would dictate that we slip in as a wild card and go 1 and done for the play-offs just to stretch out the pain.

yeah I liked him for a bit - but his career choices are weird, and I'd maybe have wanted a little better in results in Atlanta, but as LBs coach, absolutely.

I guess this for some continuity but in reality it really didn't make a fuck who he hired. 2013 just gives JR/Gettleman time to decide who they want to try to get in '14. Barring a fucking miracle there will be a whole new staff here.

And with the fucking skull draggings at BOA that are on tap with that home schedule, heads may roll before December next year.

Quite frankly, for Gettleman to allow this kind of hire, where we mix up the QB coaching w the OC, and a miserable one at that, just lets me know he's a fucking clown too.

Fuck this franchise. It's the new Browns. Gettleman is terrible, Richardson is terrible, Rivera is terrible, the whole fucking thing is.

If Im a player, I make my exit strategy. Fucking joke of a team.

no need to perseu anything of quality this year until he has somewhat of a clean slate roster wise to work with.. I give Gettleman a pass.. his tenure starts in 2014

Except that they've given no indication that they intend to start un-fucking Hurney's mess. In fact, it sure looks like they're going to try to roll with it as much as they can in hopes of having a winning season. Burning down the house in 2013 would be the only way to avoid continued cap hell in 2014 and 2015, which isn't going to happen.

Do you expect the guy to have a master plan ready to reveal to solve all this mess in just a few days? not saying you're right or wrong.. just saying maybe passing judgement on the guy is a little premature..

Except that it makes no sense for a business to operate that way. It did when JR was getting ready to dig in with the lockout, and to let FOxy ride on a bullshit year.

    This?

Why intentionally waste a year. If the team truly thought that, they'd have fired Rivera and started new.

and pay two sets of coaching staffs for an entire year? bad enough they'll have to pay them for 2014...
