Shula in Tampa had two backs before two backs was a thing.

    I guess it's possible.

This part's pretty cool. I guess the Proehl bit is kinda cool, too. Need a LBs coach. I'll hope for Babich now that John Pagano is staying in SD, but I doubt it'll happen.

I mean, the Shula thing isn't terrible, he was my 2nd choice and Hue's a bit of a loose cannon. But, it does feel pretty drab, and I do hate it if he's also QBs coach.

Keeping DW, hiring a coordinator-experienced* RBs coach, and installing a more conservative OC in the same offense. I can almost feel the OT pick coming.

*he called plays for Fassel for years

Well you guys know it is mainly about Cam, they'e hesitant to disrupt his progess by having him learn new terminology. Maybe the offense will still be good, f good is what we were watching.

Shula might even be next in line to take Rivera's job

I do like giving Proehl the WR job. He was practically a player/coach here back in the day.

Again, with Skipper, who knows how much of it was his fault, but Foster never developed into what we thought he could and Shelton was a horrible bust. The running game was trash during the middle of Foxy's tenure.

He had two first round backs, drafted with three years of eachother. I could have been their position coach and it wouldn't have mattered.

That's a good way for the team to present it, but I'm pretty sure it was more about other candidates being hesitant about Rivera's fragile job security. Hue could have come here and kept the same terminology. Same with Norv.

Foster: microfracture, plus Fox riding his vet too long. I don't think a lot of blame should fall on Skipper.
