    Despite what everybody is saying and the mounting losses, Carolina is on the edge of being very good. Throw out the second half at Maryland and the Georgia Tech loss and Carolina has been competitive. There are some rough stretches that can be ironed out and turn the N.C. State, the first Wake Forest game, the Clemson loss and maybe others into wins. Doherty needs to find a way to get Felton and a couple of his regulars some rest, because they are going dead in the second half. Look at the shots that clanked, they were tired looking shots. Give Doherty some time, the players an off-season to mature and get a better inside presence with May and whomever (maybe Grant) and Carolina can be 22-8 instead of 15-15, maybe even better next year.
