Why not? We will get a look at what he has or doesnt have. 4 games will give us a better picture of what need to address in the draft.

Agreed. What do we have to lose? Losing games is obviously not a foreign concept to the Panthers organization.

Might as well, Peete and Weinke both suck ass, if Fasani does too then we can keep him as a backup. I think Weinke needs to go no matter what happens. Even if Fasani does Ok , I still think we need to get another QB.

shouldn't from either side - this team is in such a downward spiral I don't think it can afford to take a guy with a little spark and a lot of ways to screw up. Plus, from Fasani's side, you have a guy with both athleticism and confidence, but not experience even to the level of an NFL rookie in terms of development. He's nowhere near ready to see the field. I don't want to ruin another QB this early.

But in the long run, another starter will come, another young backup with a lot more promise will be here, and he deserves to have another shot where his back isn't against the wall or he's in against third stringers. It'll happen anyway, so let's go with it.

    I think he should.

If Peete, finger and all were healthy, I would probably lean his way, but now that the turnover bug has bitten him, I'm not sure he can get back to his hum drum productive style he had the first 3 games.

I gotta laugh here, Chris B. on ESPN SportsCenter last night, says.... "Winky Stinky"... when he was talking about our game.

Believe it or not, I really can't argue the reasons Fasani should not start, but he just happens to be the most athletic and best choice.

One word of caution - If Henning insist he remain in the pocket, the results will be the same as they have all season, especially with an offensive line falling as they have.

OK, Sandy, I don't think Henning has any chains on Fanini. That's a bit extreme.

It's simply a good idea not to take off every play. Right now its every other play, and that just might keep him from getting killed.

I'm for giving him some playing time, and moving Weinke to 3. Having some limited success, even if its just mop up duty, will help him. Wouldn't start him, depending on Peete's finger though.

We got to find out who is a fighter, and Peete, when healthy, gives us a fighting chance.

I think I should start. I mean lets face it, I couldn't do any worse than the three QB's on the team. I've never played football other than intermurals in college but I'm a lefty. That should account for something. Besides I can run faster than any of the three QB's we got now and I'd be willing to tell Henning that his play calling sucks. I think the Panthers need a QBwith some balls that will change the play at the line of scrimmage because the plays Henning calls aren't worth a flip.

Got to love the 3rd and 15 run plays. Talk about not having any faith in the offense.

Sadly enough, I'm not sure ANY of the QBs here can get it done. Fasani included. If I were Fox I would look at Fasani a bit more but one thing is for sure. Weinke is done here and should be. He just doesn't seem all that interested in improving.

I'm fairly tired of arguing about which QB sucks worse.
