I just heard that also and came to post it. I wonder what we'd get. Probably a mid-round to low draftpick maybe?

It would be nice to get something out of him though even if it's not on the field.

it'd have to be low -- 4th rounder? -- he's entirely unproven but has at least a year of nfl practices and meetings under his belt.

Do they have anything worth a crap in OL depth?

95% of the time, if a trade gets "rumored," there's no truth to it at all. That kind of thing comes from message boards (wouldn't be surprised if someone took Wp's joke a while back and ran with it) and sports radio hosts who have to fill up hours. There were no rumors about the Jacobs deal or the Suggs deal. Personally I doubt this rumor simply because there are more proven options available for the Jets at equally low cost.

jets' depth consists of oversized former Cardinal Anthony Clement

dunno. Suck to give up on him entirely, but bravo if we can get at least a 4, that's at least recouping a little of it. But I doubt it ever happens, and who knows if it's true.

I don't buy it. I haven't read or heard any other sources, and I doubt they cited one. If anything, Pinner and Mac probably made it up to fill air-time.

After last season's string of injuries to our RBs, would it be prudent to move Shelton? I'd hate to need him in January after Foster is done and Williams has hit the "rookie wall."

It would be very foolish, especially considering that he's looking much better than last year's Eric Shelton. We'll need at least four running backs, and we could carry five based on how the competition is shaping up.
