The Olympics tests do not require a positive test. You can be suspended for simply the weight of the circumstancial evidence against you. This is one reason Marion Jones was planning to sue. I'll do some research later tonight and post eth links.

boys, we're talking about baseball. just thought i'd remind you what thread we're in. i don't see anyone in here talking about barry playing olympic baseball. peppers was found with taking an illegal substance.

your points don't explain how barry is on steroids.

peppers was taking a dietery supplement that was banned by the league...not so much performance enhancing, just trying to lose a few lbs.

and i agreed that their policy is a joke. what i don't see is how the olympics relate to barry testing positive for drugs.

Because you are using the lack of a public test as evidence that he is innocent, when the fact is that if one was made public before he tests positive like 348 times, then MLB can be sued out the ass.

Maybe you are right, maybe Barry naturally put on 65 pounds or so of muscle after age 32, maybe the fact that he did so while working with BALCO - who has been proven to supply steroids tha can evade tests is a coinkidink. Maybe not.
