Sheffield rolls over and gives up Bonds

hhmm...i dunno how this indicts bonds though. many creams have small traces of steriods in them to promote the healing process. Lance Armstrong tested positive for such a cream in the Tour de France a few years ago, but was cleared because he had given prior notice that he was using it for saddle sores.

also, it does not say that Bonds hooked him up with the cream. it says that he introduced Sheff to Balco and they gave him the cream. guilt by association? maybe. but Bonds did not hand the cream over to Sheff.

What does guilt or innocence in a court of law have to do with anything?

It can absorb into the blood stream, but there is nothing in there to suggest that enough could be absorbed as to make much of a difference in the weight room. The cream was used on a scar on his knee...which was probably a result of some surgery.

Not in sports, no. You play by different rules there. Most drug testing policies allow for a person to be suspended for less than a totally conclusive test. MLB's drug testing policy is a fucking joke.

I don't see Bonds being punished either, just more and more evidence - besides his huge fucking forhead - piling up that he might have been using

Let me see if I can say this slowly so that you understand. In most sports you do not need a positive drug test to be suspended.

 

so you can get suspended for being on steroids without being on steroids? interesting.
