    WTF does it matter?

Kinda like arguing whether my dad can beat your dad.

Haven't seen many draft pundits be that good past the 4th pick, overall.

Bret Favre wasn't favored to go high, didn't.
Dallas cut him. Guess he sucks, huh!

Shawn King, um, no. Where he was picked, where he was said to be, where CW was........
Both are decent 2nd strings, that's it.

BTW, where's Craig "the second comming 600 yrd passer" starting?
Jeff Lewis? Hope he plays against us after Brooks goes down, ruining the Saints SB aspirations.

B-Line? Surely the Broncos would never start him, after all, he's not their "future" right? Even if Greise starts sucking. He might see some PT, that would be nice. B-Line sure looked OK in preseason. He looked much faster in his 5 step drops.
    Sure wish B-Line was here.
How's that? Lay them negative comments on me. Are ya with me Sand?

First off, I think I was being civil with Piper. As far as laying negative comments on you, no I would not. Only one or 2 people tend to do that to me. My comments would be directed at your thoughts, not you. There is a difference. ;)

    In regards to your comments:

Nope he is the kind of QB I like. I got a kick out of one of the announcers saying Fasani had some "Farvelike" abilities.

BTW, where's Craig "the second comming 600 yrd passer" starting? Jeff Lewis? Hope he plays against us after Brooks goes down, ruining the Saints SB aspirations.
I've already gone on record about being wrong about those guys, how much more must I take. :mercy:

Again, never had a problem with Bline in the backup role. Yes, I can see him coming in and winning a few games for the Broncos. I also think they have a better overall team. I would not care if he were here in the assumed back up role. I did not use to feel this way, but I'd rather have Steve on the bench vs Winky. - Niether are guys I want leading a team 16 games in a season.

Actually, after last Monday, I'm thinking Spurrier was too quick to cut him. To think DW beat him out

Most are better than that. Kiper sucks though.

    >>Bret Favre wasn't favored to go high, didn't.

Rated late first, to second, went second. Like George Thouroughgood said, THAT"S PRETTY HIGH!!!

    >>Dallas cut him. Guess he sucks, huh!

Atlanta, not Dallas. And they traded him, not cut.

    >>Shawn King, um, no. Where he was picked, where he was said to be, where CW was....

2nd round. I thought it was a reach.

    >>BTW, where's Craig "the second comming 600 yrd passer" starting?

    Nowhere. Undrafted.

    >>Jeff Lewis? Hope he plays against us after Brooks goes down, ruining the Saints SB aspirations.

Not in league. 4th round pick

I can talk draft all day.

Hey Sandman, none of my comments in the other post were directed solely at you or anyone in paticular. Really at all the stuff posted, and all the rediculas arguing in general.

I merely asked if you were with me on th B-line thing.

Tell ya the truth, I always liked B-line for evreything he has as a player. And seriously, right now I'd take him back in a heartbeat.
Over King, over CW, over many.

And this aint a "if b-line were here" post either. Just an opinion.

I was just posting BS before, like most posts in this entire thread.
Now I'm covering my ass, just like most posts in this thread.
Not that my ass needs covering......

Thats cool, its an ongoing problem with email, message boards and the like. We don't always no if the person on the other end of the keyboard is crying, smiling, frowning, etc.

I've been smiling most of the day. I tend to be more direct with my typed words than my spoken words... ;)

Your are correct about Atl and B.Favre I thought it was Dallas off the top of my head, my bad.

Funny thing: He attempted 5 passes his first year with ATL.
    None completed, 2 INT.
Kinda puts things in perspective. What kinda perspective, I have no idea!

How about Montana, was he drafted high?
    How about Steve Young?
I know he diodn't play real well in Tampa when he started.
Saw some hilites of him the other night, looked kinda ugly, made lots of fooly material.
Just adding more BS to this thread. Mking people say "hmmmmmm.....".

Oh, and : My dad can kick all ya'lls dad's assses!!!

hehe, just funnin'. Don't take everthing so seriously some of you guys.

Now Sunday against the Vikes, I'm gonna be one serious dude, with my salsa, chips, and Natural lite. My feet up in my recliner, my kids locked outside (except my oldest watching the game with me (in the other room watchin the game if he starts running his mouth and we're losing), and my wife gone to her momma's.

I just love the draft, coach. Dat's all.

Montana: third round. They didn't think he had the arm. Young was a first rounder.

I never directed any negative comments at anyone. My comment was directed in the general direction of quarterback talk around here. If I had wanted to slight Sandy, I would have in the last 40 posts. I haven't. I haven't said anything that I don't feel is true, and I haven't said anything insultive.
But if someone attacks my knowledge and integrity just because they feel threatened, I'm not going to stand by when I know full well that it's only spite that's coming into play, at least in the case of someone who lacks any credability at all.

What does that matter? Probably none at all, Coach. But nonetheless, people have the right to disagree. What level it goes to is usually up to whoever is disagreeing, I don't get personal and some just tend to use that as their crutch.

    >>Kinda puts things in perspective. What kinda perspective, I have no idea!

It says that even the greatest quarterbacks can struggle early on. That means that just because Weinke is sitting on the bench now, doesn't justify feelings that he sucked before.
