Okay Chief, then who WOULD you do? Your reply indicates that you have given the matter some thought . . . who’s going to be plundering your poop-shoot and stuffing their hard-on sandwich down your throat in your dreams tonight?

I guess if you have not acted on your homosexual fantasies yet you are not “technically” gay . . . and even if you were I’m sure most folks here would feel exactly the same about you man. ;)

    sandy, you consistently do this...

you're dead wrong on this weinke thing.

what's your obsession with quarterbacks? they aren't even the most important position on the team and nobody talks about them as much as you.

And I know where, or at least where it originated. That's TFY's analysis. Either from their site, or cut and pasted from a site that plagerized. They still ranked him 4th round, 5th overall.

I'm not saying scouts didn't have bad things to say about him. I'm saying none had him rated below the fourth round, none that published their ratings at least.

Those are all valid negatives. TSN and Dan Pompeii had the exact same negatives. TSN had him rated 2nd round, DP had him 3rd.

4th round QBs are rarely perfect.

That was my point... several draft sites had Winky 6th or 7th or (aka Charlie Ward, which meant not at all).

I'm still waiting for proof... as much as I respect some of the stuff Piper and a few others have to say, just them saying I'm wrong is not enough. I know what I read.

I get obsessed on this QB shit cause its my role here. :D Thats what I get paid to talk about. ;)

Yep, we've been through this a bunch. I happen to think the QB is the most important position on offense. Unlike several here, league leading "stats" is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a guy that does not lose the game in the 4th quarter and a guy that inspires his team mates on the field during the game. Not in the locker room, not on the sidelines. Winky is not that kind of guy. It was obvious to the thousands of fans attending either home game he failed the test on the sidelines.

Winkys preseason and first few games last year, I said - damn this guy may be better than I thought. Now, I think he will be fortunate to stay in the league 1/2 of what our good buddy Steve B did. ;)

Did you read it, or did you hear it. First HBO, then ESPN, now you read it? Your nose is growing, Sandy.

It's unlikely that you will find to many draft sites, or any, that have 2001 pre-draft analysis still up. Those sites get taken down to make room for the next year. Lucky you.

I do have a couple of zines I can copy for ya though, for a fee....

Point is, there was not 1, nevermind several, scouting service that had Weinke listed, LISTED, lower than the 4th round.

Whoops... here is one that has him 5th pick 5th round

Funny thing is we were "supposed" to get Mcallister (sp) instead of Morgan.... I'm happy with Dan. :xyzthumbs
