I think if you look back at my posts all I have said is that his return should help Duke because they are so thin, especially inside. Sure Shav is a dissappointment so far. That does not mean he does not bring anything to the table for Duke right now though.

Casey Sanders was a bigger bust than Shavlick Randolph. An McDonald's All American, and I have no idea how he got those honors cause he was so clumsy but he did play some key roles off the bench in their championship run, but other than that, it was frustrating to see him down in the post. Luckily the rest of that class consisted of Jason Williams, Mike Dunleavy, and Carlos Boozer.

Not every highly recuited player turns out the way people think they will. Duke and Carolina both have had guys like that. It is no big deal really. I just think it is unfair and kind of strange to paint Shav as if he is the worst guy to ever wear a uniform. He is no star but he is an inside guy who can help this Duke team just because it is so thin. He may have never got off the bench on some other Duke teams.

So it's ok when dook fans have done the same to UNC fans in the past, but it's not ok for us to give you shit about Shav now?

Quote please. You won't find one that wasn't in response to a post about a Duke player.

Shav had ten points tonight on 5 of 5 shooting. That is a solid contribution and he is making Duke better now that he is back. My point is proved.

BTW all I have ever said about Mcants is that he is looking for an NBA scout.
