    This was posted by someone using the name "bill brill" on DBR. If it is the real Bill Brill then he would be in a position to know:

    "shav returned to practice sunday and things went well. he's kept most of his weight -- is just under 230. he will not play thursday. he mite suit up sunday and almost definitely will make the trip and suit up for miami and fsu next week. K sez he will be spotted at first and see what happens. "

    Sure would be nice to see the Pack turn things around and beat Dook at home again this year.

    Shav might surprise some this year if he gets healthy. He certainly will have a chance to carry some of the load cause Duke has very few options.

    He was healthy before he went out, what was his excuse then?

    You guys don't really want him back, he makes your team that much worse.

    The only benefit would be his 5 fouls.

    dook is not as good without him - but he doesn't exactly make them much better when he's in there. If he truly had/has mono he is going to be slow coming back. Idook licked out with their schedule with the long break and the easiest stretch of conference games in front of them.

    but I wouldn't be surprised at all if State beats them this week.
