I have not kept up with the NBA too much the last couple of years. I have no idea what Zo did in Jersey. I did not care for the way he left the Whorenuts but looking back on it now I do not blame him for wanting to leave. That shot he hit against Boston to win the last game of that series will always be a big sports memory for me.

I like Shaq. I used to hate him in Orlando because of Zo and the Hornets.. But that dude is funny. hes a big clown really. Seems genuine and a pretty good guy.

now Alonzo, he got a 20 million $ contract from the Nets..without taking a physical no less
Nets trade Vince Carter, Nets go to shit, Zo's kidney condition "kicks in". Zo sits out to get better.
NJ buys his contract out for 12 million$.
Zo signs with the Heat like two months later.

Players move around so much in the NBA it is easy to lose track if you are not keeping up with it. Zo may have screwed over the Nets but you have to feel for him losing a lot of his career to the kidney ailment. I have often wondered if it would have made a difference in the fate of the hornets if they had paid Zo.

    No. I don't.

I feel for the people on the two teams he royally fucked over this year while using someone else's kidney as the excuse.

Well, Shaq just offered to pay for George Mikan's funeral.

Hard to hate him with that kind of behavior.
