    I disagree. We're all very good about putting on a better image that what's true. Whether by denial or by omission makes little difference to me.

    That's true. But how does that absolve us from free will? How can there be love without free will?

    I think 2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 13 is relevant to this discussion:

    If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

    I almost didn't vote for that exact same reason. The only reason I did vote was the inclusion of the word "can". If he had used "will", I'd respond that the question was unanswerable.

    Ah. Then we agree on that point.

    You exercise your free will when you choose to either accept or reject Christ. Christ loves us whether or not we love him, his love is unconditional.

    Gots to go. But another question or two. 219 views of this thread and only 7 votes, one of which was mine. People log on as guests or I used "Sexually Excited" in the thread title and when people click on it, it wasn't what they thought, and they got mad and left.

    The book of Jude has relevant verses too:

    Jud 1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
    Jud 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
    Jud 1:22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting;
    Jud 1:23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.
    Jud 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
    Jud 1:25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, {be} glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
