I think what was being said wasn't that WBT "didn't help" but that they actually attempted to ruin it in some fashion. I forget what or why but that's what I believe the gentleman was attempting to say.

GerryV I THINK has his own program where he gives out free tickets, its called the V-HIVE, which is for most, if not, all Hornets home games last I checked . . . . . . I wonder when Packman will pimp the V-HIVE on his program . . . . . .

What was the final attendance # for the Pacers/Hornets game last Friday night . . . 13,700 ? ? Don't get me wrong, I admire what Packman did for Indiana Jones Jr. (aka Jeff Gray) family, and it sounded like a more vocal crowd than normal did show up at the game. But in the long term, wouldn't it be more impressive to the NBA to have 15000+ show up for the rest of the season vs. showing up for just 1 game (plus the Lakers game tomorrow night) ? ? ? ? I mean, there were hardly anybody at the Memphis game Sunday afternoon . . . Where was Hayseed (Mr. Duke fan) at . . . his boy Shane Battier was in town . . . Or, once they leave Duke he could care less about them ? ? ? ?

 

No gerry what I was saying is you (WBT) could have helped with that push... WFNZ WAS trying to get people in the seats... and yes I was there so don't throw it back on me I'm simply asking the question about it... while I understand that the people are going to have to choose whether or not to go to the games themselves it would good to see the local radio stations help out in getting the people in the stands its obvious to ALL of us that WBT has the largest listening audience in talk radio yet they couldn't support a drive to attemp to spur interest in the Hornets... its sad that their greed is that obvious... You see there are some of us that want to keep the Hornets in Charlotte... but then again I guess there are some of us that are so far up Shinnridges ass that it doesn't matter because they have a job waiting for them in NOLA

 

Sly, I belive I know that same person. The K matches up, but I don't remember her last name. Was it one of his producers like 5 or 6 years ago? If so, yes, she was a piece of ass.
