    coulda gone to anyone really. probably should've been split three ways between Schilling, Martinez and Lowe.

    manny won? i think you're right -- the MVP has to be the staff for shutting down that cardinals' offense.

    foulke would've got my vote. course, hard to argue with a .412 avg, a homer and i forget how many rbi's.
