Disappointed yes, despondent hell no. This could be the type of thing along with the embarrassment of losing to the Saints, a rallying point

Who the fuck is abandoning ship? No one who was a Panther fan before 2001 is abandoning ship. We've all seen the bottom.

I'll be a Panther fan till I die (or until they move). The whole damn team could crash in a plane and I'd still be a fan.

DJ, the abandoning ship part was not directed at anyone here--I think thats what purr missed. You and I both know of fans who do that, and I think we agree it sucks.

    Definitely.

Tempers are high, expectations are crushed, and no hard feelings Mike.

As I screamed about 5 times on the way down the walkway yesterday...

    "DAAAAAMNNNNNNNN"

And that was before I knew Jenk was out for the year again...

Being a "good loser" doesn't mean being happy about losing. It means acting like a god damned adult and not whining and crying and losing your head over every little thing. It means not exaggerated how bad things are when you're struggling. It means not acting like a complete ass when things don't go your way. It means having some self-respect, dusting yourself off, and getting right back to business.

The people who don't know how to handle losing maturely are people who never learned to win either. If you lose your head over every loss, you'll never regain your composure enough to be successful on a regular basis. Instead it takes resolve and focus, something people aren't exactly showing on this board. And that's ok, because they're not the ones playing the games, but it's still annoying and unnecessary.

Damn. More off-season drinking and weight issues.

    Still - we'll see.
