    Dear Mr. Sensabaugh,

    Apparently I made some statements earlier this week that in retrospect seem a little harsh concerning you and your own statements. I didn't realize that the Tar Heels would be able to back up your words against a powerful team such as Miami. I see the err of my ways and would like to offer a sincere apology to you and would hope this is a sign of things to come for Tar Heel football.

    Once again thanks for this wonderful gift, I couldn't be more surprised and shocked.
