    one was fired after one bad year, and one was kicked out after 5 good years.....go figure.

    Agreed Whiners. These aren't even close to the same situations. I Was All for Firing Herb Sendek after the 13-16 5th year. At that time it would have been easy and the fallout would have been minimal



    But They kept him.

    And Lets say they did hire a new coach that year and coach Enter name here promply goes to the NCAA's, Then comes back and finishes 2nd in the ACC and Wins coach of the year. Goes to 3 more NCAA's in a Row(After missing the entire tourney for TEN YEARS. We Would be worried how we would keep this new coach


    The excitement for NC State should be at a fever pitch. But Noooooooo Now we have to run the guy off that produced that.


    Oh Just for the record I just came from premium chat.


    Barnes, Callapari, Gillespie(Texas A&M) 1 more I can't think of and the suprise 5th choice Frank Haith of Miami is DYING to have the job. This list comes from the guys very well in the know. Take it for what its worth. Hope we don't get to the 5th choice though. That would be dissappointing.
