    Third wheel in NC? A lot of the time they're more like the 4th wheel. Sometimes they're even the spare tire in the trunk (UNCC).

    texas has deep pockets and can match any offer ncsu puts up. If barnes comes to raliegh, it will be because he wants to move back to nc or because texas chose not to match the offer. i think $2M a year would make him the highest paid coach in the country (or in the top 3 at least). is he really worth that? this is a high pressure job already...imagine if they make barnes one of the highest paid coaches in the country.

    actually imagine the wolfpack fans if Barnes is one of the top coaches in the country and STILL can't beat UNC and Dook. Whoever gets the job will possibly beat dook next year in a down year and get credited for doing such a great job.
