This is true. All you have to do is come out and play tight man-D at the perimeter, and our offense was done. We didn't have the athletes to beat you off the dribble. ( and we didn't have the athletes because most of them don't want to play in the funky Herb system).

Watch us go out and hire the coach of Princeton or Wisconsin now.

Well Barnes Has been offered. Funny with All the " I'm not interested" articles that were in the paper earlier this week, and All The "He'll never Leave Texas For NC State" Talk on Message boards and talk shows, He has yet to "Take his name out of consideration"

He may not come, but Hes definately struggling with a decision as of 10:18 EST Thursday.

Funny from things I've read I would have thought it was a foregone conclusion that he Wouldn't even consider this job.

Rick Barnes taking the job? So does that mean he will continue his oh-fer in Chapel Hill?

Looks like you got the right guy after all then. Another guy who can't beat UNC at their place, which, if I am not mistaken, is part of the reason your band of nitwits ran Herb off.

    Solid hire.

But Barnes got in God's face, which is part of the allure.

Why would Barnes leave Texas? I realize it's a football school but Barnes has made it the #1 b-ball school there as well and Texas has some damn good in-state talent to draw from. Why go to State and be the the third wheel in NC?
