Probably got some of Colbert's work, maybe before they knew Jarrett's knee would be okay. That or he is beating him out.

They absolutely deserve credit - but to say they get ALL the credit takes away from Moore. The running game certainly didn't help.

I'd like to point out that the defense responded to not having a totally inept offense. I think Moore's play was respectable enough that the defensive players didn't feel like they HAD to do it alone.

I'd also like to point out that Moore converted his final 8 third down passes. We were not converting 3rd and short, or even 4th and short, on the ground. That was the rookie Moore and he deserves credit for that.

Let's not forget Kasay's missed 36 yard FG and Carter's missed TD pass, either. They didn't get points, but Moore moved the ball, converted 3rd downs, and kept that defense rested.

The defense had alot of good things to say about Moore:

    Linebacker Thomas Davis
On the defense holding down the fort until the offense scored: It’s a team game. Whenever we go out we can’t blame the offense. The offense is not the ones that let the (other) team score points. It’s us as a defense and we feel like if we do a better job each week and give the offense more possessions then maybe they can come out and get something done. Matt Moore did a great job doing that today.

    Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins
On the victory: I don’t think that it was just any one performance. I think everybody played great, especially 3 (Moore). That young fellow there, I mean, oh my God that is what you look for in a quarterback. I know that you all had goose bumps on the sidelines. It was cool, the defense being able to hold them. That’s how we are supposed to play. That’s how we practice hard for and that’s what we put our heart into. If we can keep that up, we’ve got something to build on. I know that our playoff hopes are pretty much gone but that doesn’t mean our season is over. We can still continue do what we are supposed to do.

    Safety Chris Harris
On the play of many of the team’s younger players: Young guys stepped up. Charles Johnson played well. I can’t say enough about Matt Moore. He did one hell of a job today.

Putting Moore into the middle of a game with no practice reps with the first team all week is a little different that giving him 1st team reps all week, and starting him.

That said, he was outstanding. I was at the game, till the end. His energy and spark helped the entire team perform at a higher level.

Oh, and suck my ass, dickface.
