What about "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"? Sounds like a winner to me.

"Signs" was a low-key, low-budget thriller. I would like to have seen more of the invasion, but I guess they could only afford to pay for one scary alien, which was disappointing. Decent movie, but I think a comedy is usually the better choice for a movie date.

  7. One Hour Photo is opening tomorrow. Is that not a cool premise for a movie? I think I'll ask my honey for a date and go see it.

The point of signs was not the invasion but the reaction of a typical american family. I love M. Night's perspective on things. I liked Unbreakable as well. It wasn't about superhero vs. villain, but about the two coming to grips with their roles. I think he's awesome.

OK, the plan tonight is to eat at Joey D's, then catch the 6:50 'Road to Perdition', with the 7:05 'Minority Report' as backup.

Can you tell we don't get out to the movies much?
