that's "rue" the day, my man.

and BC will be swimming in so much shared TV/bowl money and new recruiting inroads in the south that they won't bother to think about the big east again.

Cmon LarryD, how many folks from the South will BC be able to recruit? Seeing how folks here cring anytime the temperature hits below 50 and freak out if 1 inch of slush hits the ground, I don't know if they will be able to get many kids to play up North. They will still have a strong prescene in New England, but I doubt they will be able to get tons of recruits form the South though . .

    BTW, correction noted :D :D !!!

who said anything about a ton?

however, they get to tell their football players that they get to play in miami, tallahassee, atlanta, chapel hill, raleigh, clemson, winston-salem, durham, charlottesville, roanoke and college park -- all before the snow falls.

the TV contract for the conference will be huge. much bigger than the football deal for the big east. plus, you throw in a conference championship game and the $9 mil for that...

    dude, this conference is strong.

Don't remember exacty who, but I know right before offers were made to Miami and VT, there was talk that if the ACC couldn't get the schools needed with one of them being Miami to be in the BCS, FSU was talking of leaving the ACC to go eslewhere. This was during the time there was talk of Miami, BC and Cuse as the 3 teams.
