4 out of the last 6 games on the road... that might really suck ass or it might play right into our hands... depending on who Foxy wants to start at QB

    From The Gannt File

Sunday, Sept. 7 at San Diego 4:15 p.m. Fox Comment: I can do weather too: Forecast at kickoff, 80 degrees and sunny, with a pleasant breeze blowing in from the coast.

Sunday, Sept. 14 Chicago 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Just to be fair to both locales on his pro resume, WR Muhsin Muhammad will catch a touchdown pass, and drop one as well.

Sunday, Sept. 21 at Minnesota 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Panthers are 2-4 all-time there, barring more trick punt return plays.

Sunday, Sept. 28 Atlanta 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Traditionally one of the ugliest games on the schedule, for reasons that have never been clear.

Sunday, Oct. 5 Kansas City 1 p.m. CBS Comment: John Fox and Chiefs coach Herm Edwards were college teammates, and they could probably play safety and corner for their current defenses.

Sunday, Oct. 12 at Tampa Bay 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Winners of five straight at Raymond James, though that last one against the Bucs’ JVs shouldn’t count.

Sunday, Oct. 19 New Orleans 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Last year’s 31-6 beat-down here might have been the Panthers’ worst loss of the season, the fifth straight which fanned the flames.

Sunday, Oct. 26 Arizona 1 p.m. Fox Comment: You don’t want anybody hurt, but wouldn’t it be cool to see Vinny Testaverde come in on his white horse again?

Sunday, Nov. 2 BYE WEEK Comment: It’ll make for a long run from training camp, but rest later is a good thing.

Sunday, Nov. 9 at Oakland 4:05 p.m. Fox Comment: Well, it was 52-9 in favor of the home team the last time the Panthers went there, so it can’t possibly get worse, can it?

Sunday, Nov. 16 Detroit 1 p.m. Fox Comment: It’s never safe to budget wins, but if you want to be a good team, this is the kind you can’t ever let slide.

Sunday, Nov. 23 at Atlanta 1 p.m. Fox Comment: You’ll pardon them for not wanting to make this trip, since the 2007 season and Jake Delhomme’s elbow exploded last time there.

Sunday, Nov. 30 at Green Bay 1 p.m. Fox Comment: There’s nothing quite like going to the league’s most storied venue (or a cold Gastonia, depending on your perspective) to watch Aaron Rodgers.

Monday, Dec. 8 Tampa Bay 8:30 p.m. ESPN Comment: In honor of David Carr, both quarterbacks required to take flying leaps, then disappear into oblivion.

Sunday, Dec. 14 Denver 1 p.m. CBS Comment: How will the Panthers defense ever be able to contain the wide-open Broncos offense led by Keary Colbert?

Sunday, Dec. 21 at NY Giants 1 p.m. Fox Comment: It used to be the Manning you worried about was Peyton, but little brother Eli’s been better earlier in the playoffs.

Sunday, Dec. 28 at New Orleans 1 p.m. Fox Comment: Have won five straight at the Saints’ place, and QB Jake Delhomme has never lost to his old team there.

Someone on chicago's offense scares you? I'd say stopping them is more about special teams locking their shit down.
