    Carr also made the Texan's OL look bad. You tend to get sacked if you stand there with the ball for 5 seconds refusing to make a decision.

    Now there's a great idea! Lets take a guy who is a leader on the field, respected by his teammates, proven clutch performer (just look at his 4th quarter comeback win total), took us to the Super Bowl and had one of the greatest 2nd half perfomances in the history of the game, led us back to the NFC Championship game just 2 years later, has a career QB rating of 84.0 with 92 TD's vs 63 INT's...........make him the backup to Carr who has not demonstrated any leadership qualities, has a career QB Rating of 75.5, with 59TD's vs 65 INT's and has not accomplished shit in 5 years....make him the starter. Just brilliant.

    I believe the Texans are trying to give the Lions and the Raiders a run for their money as the worst managed franchise in the league.

    Well, we still need a backup. If Jake keeps the job, fine. At least we'd have a better backup than Weinke in any case.

    I would have no problem with Carr as a back-up. In fact, I would like Jake to feel the pressure of someone waiting to take his place....unlike with Weinke holding the clipboard. Favre has always said he is terrified to go out of the lineup because the first game he misses could be his last because someone is always waiting for their shot. Don Makowski went out a Packer game with an injury, his backup stepped in and when Makowski was ready to play he no longer had a spot because Favre was now the man. That fear can push you to be great.

    Carr will start for some NFL team next year. Texans let him get killed and gave him crap to work with. There are plenty of teams that will give him a shot at a starting job. I don't see him as a backup.

    League and team sources confirmed that Schaub has signed a six-year, $48 million contract with the Texans, a move that officially consummates the trade.

    The falcons team needs according to the Draft Countdown are DT, S, O line and now you can throw in QB.

    They may be targeting Branch or Okoye and get their QB and S in the 2nd. Miami also needs a DT and Safety so they probably want the choice over the consolation prize.

    Either way, that is two teams ahead of us that need a safety.
