Really sucks if true. Not surprising though, especially seeing how his wife won't move here.

just like vecessy calls him Larry "next town" Brown I call Peter "lets throw some shit on a wall and see if it sticks" Vecessey.

still, it wouldn't shock me to see him leave. I never gave him more than 3 years here. his old lady won't move here and they have a house in Philly and Santa Barbara(clipper rumors). he still has daughters here and his mom who is seriously like 99 or 100 years old but that doesn't sound like its enough.

how much longer does this guy want to coach anyway?

The timing of the 'rumor' still stinks.

Yeah, the timing was terrible. Glad that LB addressed it, I'll take him at his word on this one. The one thing that was bothering me was the timing, if anyone remembers his last season in Detroit. The playoff run there was completely tainted by his rumors to NY, and I actually lost some respect for LB in how he handled that situation.

Glad to see he's learned from it and at least denied the rumors upfront this time.

the rumors are back. so maybe he wasnt lying when he said he wont coach anywhere but here. he didnt say anything about being GM somewhere else.
when they lose, I bet LB is gone within a week

i still think vecessey is a clown

Brown is angling to take the Philadelphia 76ers’ presidency, and has targeted Washington Wizards front office executive Milt Newton as his general manager and the Atlanta Hawks’ Mike Woodson as coach, sources said.

As they’ve known for months, Brown wants out and that’s the reason owner Michael Jordan understands there’s no use holding an unhappy Brown to his contract. Jordan has said that he wouldn’t keep Brown to his contract based on the coach’s expressed desire to be with his family in Philadelphia.

Brown is likely gone, Jordan and GM Rod Higgins believe, and Brown’s escape plan appears to mirror his failed attempt to leave the Detroit Pistons for the Cleveland Cavaliers five years ago.........
