    I am surprised how good this album is. Certainly the best Counting Crows have put out in some time. I bought it because Rolling Stone gave it a good review and they played live on Stern Thursday morning and sounded great. Anyone else listen to it yet?

    Their album is #1 on amazon and rolling stone liked it so i guess I will use those two as a barometer over you.

    This Desert Life and Recovering the Satellites were mediocre at best. August and Everything After is one of the top 10 albums of the 90s.

    Janet Jackson topped the Rolling Stones chart early in March. all that means is a lot of people like shitty music. Saying Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings is the best work The Counting Crows have done "in some time" is like saying Owen Wilson's work in Drillbit Taylor is the best acting he's done since Shanghai Noon.

    I hear The Hooters are making a comeback. Stay tuned for their best work in years.

    I never mentioned the roling stone charts, just their reviews which are generally tough.

    Knowing you are from Buffalo and seeing your sense of style I can only imagine your taste in music. We've got a nice dinosaur rock station here you would love...99.7 the fox. All Grid, all the time, specializing in black acid-washed jeans.
