    No doubt.

I'm enjoying it, and I'm actually glad another player is criticzing Strahan's 22.5* sacks.

    *except for not really.

I really dont see any reason to critisize Strahan. I dont see how he coud be to blame and it's not like hes being egotistacal about it.

I agree, but I'll criticize his record. It'a a bullshit record. I hope it gets broken soon.

I doubt we'll see anybody eclipse that just yet. It'll probably take a rule change or two really good games against poor lines. I don't rightly care that Favre tanked it for the record. I think it's funny how people are getting all torn up about it, though, and to tell the truth the only one that should be mad is Gastineau, who had to have been on so many steroids that were he ever to be in the hall of fame, they could probably use his actual head painted with plastikote.

Funniest thing about it is that Sapp's all over it and yet he had what, 6 sacks?

It'd be in line with our pics.

Speaking of which - doesn't Morgan seem irritated with the media? Not in an arrogant way, but in a 'why do you keep asking these stupid questions' kind of way.

I enjoy watching that. I'll enjoy it more when the man in the middle and our front seven get regularly mentioned on Sports Center, and for the right reasons.

yeah. He does have kind of a snarl about him when talking to them, and it might partly be because he got ragged for sounding like he was stupid in interviews rght after the draft when he was trying to be intellectual.

To tell the truth, they do make some awful stupid questions go the distance. But sportswriters are stupid...the few specialized football terms they use, they use because the staff imbued that knowledge upon them. Elephant, for instance, and the plugger/buck positions on the defense from the last staff. They're rightly clueless about a lot of what's going on, but can occasionally use large words that make it sound to the average idiot like they have command.

So yeah, a student of the game like Morgan will have able amounts of disdain for these guys. They're not nearly as talented as any of the college beat writers that you'd find around UM, much less the guys who have a national voice through the Hurricanes.

I really feel good of what I'm hearing about Morgan. Yeah, I want Berman to rave about our defense, and the storied man in the middle.
