anybody watch her food channel series "semi-homemade"? she makes some of the most comically bad dishes that i almost enjoy watching what she's going to come up with next. she's like a trailer version of martha stewart. her shtick is to use store-bought products as much as possible with little "home-made" touches (generally reduced to combining "flavor packets" in ways the manufacturer never intended).

her sense of presentation is "more is more".

the only thing she does well is make good cocktails (according to my wife) -- of course, her garnishes are ridiculously huge, but you can always skip that part.

i have no idea why she's still on tv, unless it's for comic relief.

She's annoying, but I can see why she's still on. She does things that are more geared towards todays society. She comes up with ideas for quick, easy to prepare meals. But yes... She's still annoying, and I don't like her. But sometimes I watch since the show is on immediately following Paula Deen.

There are websites on the internet for the sole purpose of poking fun at her.

really? i gotta find one of those. that's all we do when we watch her, but for some reason, my wife still insists on keeping her show in the tivo queue.

i wonder who she had to blow at the food network to get her show. most of the people on food network are actually very competent and she seems sorely lacking in the kitchen. maybe she's better in other rooms of the house.
