it's pathetic. why are they releasing names every 2-3 months? it doesn't matter anymore, the game is bigger than any scandal. that generation is tainted, everyone knows and quit caring 3 years ago.

There is a small detail you are overlooking and it's called purgery. He lied under oath and everyone knew it, now he may pay the price.

How fucking dumb is he to lie to congress when he knew that a positive test was documented somewhere? He is a scumbag and deserves whatever he gets.

Don't froget his "foundation" he has run by various family members who all seem to make enough running that scam to drive $100,000 cars. He is a piece of shit.

I'm not here to defend Sammy, but it's not at all clear that he perjured himself. I don't have the transcript but he apparently said that he never took any illegal substances, and steroids are not illegal in the DR.

Unfortunately he was under oath in the United States and they were all specifically asked about performance enhancing drugs.

A 16 year old can buy beer in England or France, but can't in the U.S. I don't see your point.

And performance enhancing drugs are not illegal in the US. Manny was legally taking them via perscription from his MD. They are just bannned by baseball.
