Sam Vincent needs to go

Silas was the obvious choice but this team is so dead-set on distancing themselves from the Hornets that they never even interviewed him afaik.

Too bad.

At least they acknowledge the Hornets on the basketball history wall in the arena.

 

from what I understand Vincent was rumored to be fired two weeks ago(I have friends who work there). MJ had a two hour, one-on-one conversation with Vincent. word also was that the players dont like Vincent. Bernie at least had this team improving record wise every year. I wouldnt mind if he took over at this point until they can find a real coach.

 

The problem is the Bobcats can't play defense worth a damn. How many times in the last 10 games has the opposing team scored over 100? They need to get a stopper in the offseason, or a coach he can teach some defense. It's pathetic.

 

Probably coincided with Felton's move back to PG.

 

I've heard multiple people say that. Vincent has lost this team, and it's a matter of when he goes, not if. The only question is how quickly Jordan finds that ability to swallow his pride and admit hiring Sam was a mistake.

 

Paul Silas is a good coach and I would have liked to have him here. Jordan needs to do something though. I would rather see him coach the team himself than what they are doing right now.

 

So you mean being coach of the Nigerian women's team wasn't enough to qualify him to run an NBA team?
